I had bilateral knee replacement in June 2001 but the right knee was again done in October because the implant didn't adhere to the ligament. It's been 4 months now and the right knee still hurts and the swelling won't go down although the leg is no longer shifting. I feel I need serious physical therapy in order for the muscles to take the stress the implants have been taking but the therapists have been less than assertive. Will building up the muscles in both of my legs, help alleviate the stress on my implants and make my legs heal faster.
