I've read that honey is great for healing wounds and preventing scars. It was one of the first treatments used for wounds. I've never actually used it myself, though. [br][br] There was an article about honey and wounds over on Scars1 recently.

I haven't tried this product, but I would like to. Glad to hear that you had good results with it.

I have tried this new honey ointment and it was debriding the necrotic tissue faster than any other product. The patient did not complain about pain and after the debridement the wound did granulate quicly. Some redness around the wound was seen, but that was only when the necrotic tissue was still present. I do think that the redness was because of the osmotic action of the honey. The wound did heal very fast. Anybody with similar experiences with this honey ointment ?

If you're interested as aprofessional or a patient you should visit the L-Mesitran website for a new cure for various kinds of wounds. It is a wound ointment based on eco-honey. See more scientific info and case reports ! http://www.l-mesitran.com
