JUST HAD A SKIN GRAFT- DONOR MY OTHER LEG- IT IS ABOUT 4" BY 8". THEY TOLD TO ME NOT COVER THE DONOR LEG AND IT WAS HEALING VERY WELL. IT HAS BEEN ABOUT 4 WEEKS SINCE MY SURGERY AND IT HEALED VERY WELL THE FIRST TWO WEEKS. NOW IT IS SCABBING AND BLEEDING AND THERE IS YELLOW DRAINAGE COMING FROM IT. THIS MORNING I WOKE UP AND IT HAD A ROTTEN SMELL. THE DOCTORS OFFICE SAYS THIS IS NORMAL BUT I AM VERY CONCERNED. I WAS CLEANING IT WITH BETADIENE BUT DR. SAYS DON'T DO IT ANY MORE. I AM LEAVING IT OPEN AND TRYING TO KEEP IT CLEAN. CAN YOU HELP??? I USED PEROXIDE ON IT TODAY.
