MY 7 year old son was burned by a plastic bottle on fire when he fell on it, and it burned his hand. My question is, the doctor had said from the beginning that it was healing fine, 3 weeks later he decides that he might need to send him to a plastic surgeon to do some skin grafts, or other surgery. My question is, is it too late to do them at this time? I know he stated that they might need to cut it out where he got burned, and graft it. Also, he stated the 2nd covering of skin is done covered and the burn is still real deep. So what can be done now? Thanks for all your help..
