Hello, My sister, age 58 suffers from diabetic ulcer wounds on both legs has found that oxygen therapy called HBOT helps in improving symptoms if used as an adjunct to the regular treatments. Here is the source she found tody: http://www.hyperbaric-oxygen-info.com (go to the indications page). Does anybody on this forum can suggest/confirm the success of the therapy? Thanks, Alexandra

Interesting. Thanks for sharing your findings. I will definitely look into this to see if there is any other research to support your theory.

My wife had leg ulsers for years.I found that taking 500 mg of Riboflavin a day healed her wounds. After years she broke out again. The only change in her diet was pork bacon. It is possible this contributed to higher LDL collestralin her blood. We have been eating turkey bacon for years.I believe people who are prone to leg ulsers probable cannot store Vitamin B2, and will have to take a minimum of 100 milligrams a day [after the ulser is healed], for the rest of their lives.
