I recently began treatment for Venous Leg Ulcers and Venous Insufficiency. My Physician suggeted that I get fitted for the compression device Circ-Aid. I have had the device for 3 days and it is the best thing since sliced bread. I work in an office environment and set behind a desk all day. It is so nice to reach the end of the day and my ankles not be swollen as big as basketballs and my legs hurt. They are 10 times better than pre-fitted stockings or Unna Boots. My leg ulcers are healing at a phenomonal rate and the Circ-Aids are so comforatable that I hardly notice I am wearing them. The first day or two it was trial and error as to getting the Circ-Aid device adjusted and learning how to put them on, but now I am so glad I got them. If you have the same problem may I suggest you speak with your family doctor about them. You can read all about them at www.circaid.com. Most durable medical suppliers can get them. They require a prescrition from your physician and most insurances will cover them.
