I have a friend who had surgery 1 year ago for reduction of her mid section from obesity. I do not recall the exact name,of the surgery. It required a incision across her abdomin. She has a dibetic mother, who has had severe complications, because of this disease. My friend has now had 4 other surgeries, due to the continued problems of infection, abcess, and now unknown. Her doctor, a well known plastic surgeon in her state, has not referred her to anyone else, and is prepared to operate again, this week, just to see what is wrong. She, my friend, has not asked for a second opinion, and says this doctor has tested her blood sugar, but not recently. Please give me any sugesstions on how to help my friend find help.
