Look for reddness around the incision sight and feel for warmth. these are signs of infection. otherwise squeeze a cap of vitamin E on ther scar, as it is probably just dry and pulling.

I had my appendix out two weeks ago and my scar is killing me-- it is so itchy, i scratch it all the time. Now it is really red-- is there any chance that I mad eit get infected?
