Soccer is a great sport. However, like any other sport that has some level of contact, injury is possible. Sadly, one of my favorite singers was permanently blinded when he was hit by a soccer ball in his younger years. However, this did not stop him from living his life. I have also heard about other individuals suffering significant wounds and subsequently scarring from playing soccer.

Soccer certainly does not seem as dangerous as football, but injuries happen. And, sometimes, they can be quite serious.

[p]I should not have clicked on that. That was awful. I can't believe he was walking after it![/p]

[p]Not sure whether this is the right category for my post - could not really figure it out. Too many categories here that I do not know. Anyways, with the Soccer World Cup starting in a few weeks I wanted to share one of my favorite (that sounds so wrong!) injuries. It happened during a soccer back in 1981[/p][p]Here is the link The player who became a famous coach later is Ewald Linien.[/p]
