I have a 1 1/2 inch scar on my chest (from where a port was installed and removed following chemo infusions 7 months ago) and it has become keloid - I tried the scar-reduction strips, but had to discontinue them within 24 hours as I have also developed a sensitivity to adhesives. Can anyone recommend any other types of treatment (or topical preparations) that might help decrease the size/swelling and/or itching? I'm a very fair-skinned (freckled) female, and this is the first scar (of many in my past) that has developed this condition.
