I had a half-shoe after i had heel surgery, and I thought it had enough support. But my surgery was very minor, and I only had to use the half-shoe for about a week.

Recently I had a surgical procedure on my heel and have been limping around in a walking cast. My doctor told me I could switch to a half shoe, but will it make walking even harder because there is less support? Has anyone has a half shoe?
