Broken left ankle with outer having a plate. This wound has been in cast for 8weeks. Was initally infected which was corrected with antibiotics. Now the wound is ok but very slow to heal over.have been using AQUACEL[Bristolmyers]to sop up the brown body discharge, which is slight, cover with an opsite op dressing. It has improved greatly but still not fully healed. The nurse says that some times this problem can presist for a while. Is the application ok and it there a better treatment? Thankk you george clarke
